Bacon never partied like pumpkin

Was pretty good imo. Had a bottle in honor of Halloween. Not too spicy or sweet. Solid ale flavor.

Almanac Farm to Barrel. they have it at WF here in socal but no idea where to find elsewhere. The whole series is barrel aged. The others ive had were all awesome but sour. This one wasn't really sour but was really good for A pumpkin ale. Wife liked it and she loves Shipyard and Pumking.

Southern Tier's "Pumking" is my favorite, but it's more in the 8.5-9% range iirc.
They have the Spooky Tooth on tap at our local beer place, and it was excellent. Best I’ve had.

The other night, while driveway drinking with the neighbors, I pulled out a sampling of a bunch of pumpkin ales that we all tasted.

Brooklyn Post Road Oumpkin Ale tasted like an IPA with pumpkin as an afterthought.
Dogfish Punkin Ale is good stuff. Wee bit spicier this year
Pumpkin Roll Ale | Pennsylvania Brewing Company, was overly spiced with cinnamon and whatnot
Leinenkugel's Harvest Patch Shandy Was a lot better than I expected. Definitely pumpkin, yet light and guzzalable.
Blue Moon Pumpkin Ale is regression to the mean, good quality without blowing you away.

Now to head to the basement fridge...
