That was a cool line.

I've got to be honest though, if I'm picking on something I didn't really like... Amy Adams doesn't really work as Lois Lane for me.

I'm not sure who would have been better. Either way, I have a hard time getting warmed up about her in anything.

She was serviceable. I'd have to think about it more?

Besides all the cool Kryptonian stuff, what got me in the heart was Jonathan Kent and Jor-El.

When you have 2 fathers, I guess that's to be expected?

One who made you and loved you but had to let you go for most of your youth and one who accepted you as his own, loved you and taught you and never made you feel you were anything but his own.

And then not really having either of them and trying to figure shit out on your own.

I think maybe that's really why I love this film so much?

For the first time in my life I can identify with the Kal-El character besides childish shit.

Yeah I'm drinking and in a funk.

Teri Hatcher was definitely the best Lois Lane, but we need to figure out another actress in or near her prime who would have worked for this film.

Try to keep up.

Hot, 30 years old, give or take a couple years in either direction...

Adams was OK.

Better than Margo Kidder for damn sure.

Yeah, I didn't dislike Amy Adams, I just didn't love her. Like I said earlier on, I don't get too excited about her the way I do say... Olivia Wilde, who I would not pick to play Lois Lane either.

I read an interesting story where they said they wanted a Lois Lane who was clearly into her mid-ish 30s or so. Someone with a little grit to her, who isn't just a girl who's swept off her feet every other scene.

I don't know who else auditioned for the role.

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to make her regret about 3 minutes off her life, but Lois Lane... meh.

Still not sure who else from the current crop of actresses I'd pick...

Well, if they can turn Perry White into a fucking nigra...

Who played Jimmy Olsen? Goddamned Will Smith's boy?

I don't think there was a Jimmy Olsen, was there? I only counted one negro of any prominence in the flick.

And turd, if you shit on another thread with something that disgusting again, I'll be even more upset with you than I am right now. You're not funny. Seriously. Fuck you.

IMDB only credits her character as "Jenny" but other reviewers referred to her as Jenny Olsen.

I am more concerned that they don't Starbuck Jimmy than who plays Blois Lane.

Seriously, hung up on who played Lois with everything else that is SO BADASS! about this flick?

It's not like it's going to break into Super Porn!

Adams was serviceable.

Meloni was cool as the Col. I like how even with certain death, he pulled a blade and stood like a man..... and later died LIKE A BOSS!

Fuck with Elliot Spangler/ Keller from Oz/ The Gym Teacher and you just might lose. (And he was a constuction worker and then personal trained in our area, so he's of the brethren.)

Watched it. Dug it.

The chick who played Lois was serviceable as an actress and I would not object if she wanted to throw me a bone.

Guy who played Superman. Good job. Finally a guy that I felt looked like Superman is supposed to in both body type and mannerisms.

Zod was pretty cool, though some of his lines were a bit cheezy.

Battle scenes were crazy awesome.

Haven't seen this movie but I am confidant that this short film is just as good a variant on similar genre themes:

Am I the only one who thought Lois Lane's street-savy, tough exterior was offset by the fact that she looked like Pam from The Office?

I liked this Superman flick because they made it more of a sci fi movie as opposed to just a pure superhero movie.
