Re: New reedickulos

For what group exactly is being "fully oriented while inverted" essential? For me and Sam Fisher, this in an indispensable part of our arsenal against Eastern European terrorist opponents: [img:661:1000]http://www.clantemplates.com/renders/gallery/data/media/107/Splinter-Cell-1.png[/img] ...

I thought Moses was supposed to die before he ever reached the Promised Land.

Are you still with us, Foxy? Or does that angel emoticon mean the soul's left the six-pack?

Don't flatter yourself too much, guys. This thread doesn't even come up on the first ten pages of google entries.

I think people just come back here hoping to be amused. So if this thread proves anything, it's that clueless hope springs forth eternal.

LOL, a Pubmed study has been posted to Irongarmx. The end is most definitely nigh. Although I know that everybody followed the link and pored over the info studiously with pencil in hand, I'll cut and paste it: Non-linear relationship between O2 uptake and power output at high intensities of exercis...

I'm familiar with this, xfit boy. Men who can't squat 300 fucking pounds have no business arguing with people about what may or may not be the best training methods. Run on back to the xfit board where 290 lbs makes you a big leaguer. Shit, a few more lbs and you can be elite maybe. And take fuckin...

If ya'll spent more fucking time squatting instead of pretending that your scientists, MAYBE your max squats would actually exceed 290lbs. Rick If this is directed to me---- Have you seen my train? Do you know how hard I train or how frequently I train? I can count on the fingers of one the hand th...

Jason, You're right mathematically. Nafod contended that useful data can be gathered from measuring power output, and that XF works because it is a system that purports to increase power output, and it increases power output. I'm arguing that power output is not useful data and that insofar as XF an...

Dazed, Are you serious ? WORK equals FORCE x DISTANCE. I doubled the distance because I did TWICE as many reps. Here's an easier example: 1 lap around a standard track equals 400m. I run 1 lap in 1 minute. Now I run 2 laps in 1 minute. I have doubled my workload since I moved the same mass twice th...

OK, I'm not interested in the XF-bashing circle jerk, but I really think that using power output as a measure of workout intensity is misguided. Cross-posted from XF: Discussing instability, IMO, misses what is most problematic about the use of power as a metric. I think you are referring to efficie...

-Front squat is no better or safer than back, wide stance, or SSB squat. I wondered about this, myself. I'm not very strong, but I find that at loads that are high for me, it's much more tempting to break front squat technique (let the upper back round) than it is to break back squat technique (let...

To drop the pin back on the ol' broken record: Isn't a snatch basically just moving a pretty heavy weight really fast? And isn't this a good thing? Super-Secret Agent K, Maybe I took your post the wrong way. My point was that, even though 'Hard Style' does sound like the name of some brokeback nudie mag, it might be the case that GS saps strength, since athletes who were anything but push-overs have suggested that this is the case. Maybe I'm re...
