I really liked, "My Name is Nobody"
It comes at the end of the west era.

The way it has been explained to me is that if you have ever checked caucasian/white on a government form; you are classified. Now this was 30 years ago when I was in high school, but I have been checking "other" ever since. No one has ever asked me about it. My fire department usually hir...

The Dentist
I dislike him greatly.
In his defense I haven't been in around 10 years but that doesn't change my thoughts about him. I am told I need the extra special hypersonic tactical cleaning that will take 3 hours. On the plus side I don't have any cavities.
I should visit these people more frequently.

Hey WGM
If Pukie is actually a member of the HQ, do you think you may have a case of libel against them?
Posting your photo, email and fucking with your real-life job with false accusations would seem to be beyond what is legal, as least to an uneducated fuck like me.

I met Col. Barfoot about 15 years ago. He and Col. Carl Sitter, another MOH awardee, spoke at an awards dinner I attended. They were both very well-spoken and classy gentlemen.
RIP

Tucker and Dale vs. Evil
90 minutes of goofy low budget slasher film parody. I laughed out loud at time.
As a bonus it has a big strong guy with an epic beard in it. Might remind some of you of someone.

Re: Yukon GHD
I have one. It isn't the most comfortable to do GHR on but it works. It also developed a wobble after a little while and isn't easy to adjust. But I'm the only one using it so it doesn't get adjusted. FWIW I weigh between 175 and 190 and I'm 5'9".

Re: All right you nerds-- NPR Top 100 SF & Fantasy books
Through this list I have found and read several of the books I wouldn't have know existed. Neil Gaimen is especially good. I read "Nevermore" and several of his short stories. On the library's wait list for "American Gods." Reread "The Stand" by Stephen King. Read the K...

Best sci fi book for kids is "A Wrinkle in Time" I read this in fifth grade and still remember it.
I'm in the middle of the "Song of Ice and Fire" series now. So far it has been enjoyable but it does plod from time to time.
