This movie was made in 2005 or early 2006 and wasnt released in the US until SciFi picked it up as a SCiFi original movie. It premoered Saturday the 15th of Septemeber. I think they put the DVD out in Russia last year and was detroyed by critics and fans alike. I gave it a shot because I like the old TV show and it was Saturday night so I had nothing else to do. My opinion is similar to the other Highlander movies and show..a good premise but poor execution. It isnt as bad as some of the other movies that SciFi plays on Saturdays like Bloodrayne and the various snakes and sabertooth tiger movies. But it wasnt as good as say....sleeping.
I give it 2.5 out of 5 kettlebells. I would have given 3 kettlebells if their were more beheadings or at least a few hot chics or random cleavage shots. I would have given it 2 kettlebells if they didnt destroy that stupid katana sword.
