Excellent knife. Took my Trail Master on a four day trip into the Boundry Waters Canoe Area in northern MN. Two of the four days it was in the 50's with steady rain and wind. I used the knife to clear an area and mostly split wood. The Trail Master batons through thick logs with no problem. The knife had barely a scratch after I beat the shit out of it. I was hesitant about taking such a large/heavy knife. Given the weather and the wet condition of the available wood it was the right choice.
