Good flick, 10 times beter than Centurion.

Great combat scenes, pretty damn close to how many experts (and your's truely) think Romans would fight except very little Pilium (Javalin) work. Even Rome on HBO did not show that nearly enough, a shame as it was a hallmark of their battle tactics.

The story was good, the acting was good. Sure a bunch of French film loving film critics did not like it but who listens to Faggots when it comes to movies? Not real men.

Great location shots.

My eldest boy loved it.
