You should start a "What if Hillary was President instead of Trump" thread.
I take it you didn't watch the video. It's Dershowitz giving legal facts about the Trump accusations, dipshit.

I watched him on CNN last night, moroon, making those arguments.

How about the "What if Hillary was President instead of Trump so we can go back to being whiny-assed cry babies with no responsibility for elected the current Dipshit in Chief" thread. You can start that one, since you are already acting like you are posting in it.

Seriously, do Trump supporters even buy this shtick?
White House Principal Deputy Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders didn’t hesitate to rebut Comey when asked by a reporter during a briefing on Thursday.

No, I can definitely say the president is not a liar,” Sanders said. “I think it’s frankly insulting that that question would be asked.”
It's the one thing I am 1000% positive he is. A liar.

Nafod, you're a liar. You say things about Trump you know aren't true simply because you disagree with his political ideology. Sad. Pathetic even.

Apparently the line to watch the hearing started about 4:30 this morning. Crazy

The hearings remind me of the Caviston - Glassman disagreements back in the day.

I liked the part where Comey said Trump told him to investigate the Russia thing and even his associates(Trump's) if he suspected wrongdoing.

President Donald Trump is claiming "total and complete vindication" the day after former FBI Director James Comey testified on Capitol Hill.

If it turns out that there was no collusion, that everyone on Trump's campaign just acted like there was and that they were hiding it, it will remind me of Saddam getting dragged out of his spider hole saying, "I TOLD YOU THERE WERE NO WMDs, HAHAHAHAHAHA....oh wait."

the comey show was revealing, but it's merely a warm-up act. mueller is the headliner. any conclusion drawn yesterday is premature.

i have to say, though, i do like paul ryan suggesting poor naive donald just didn't understand how things work. the president-in-diapers explanation. is that your best defense? really?

Comey testimony that's been almost completely ignored by the MSM pundits is that during an active FBI investigation the AG had a secret meeting with a former president, who happened to be the husband of the investigated party, presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

Subsequent to that meeting the Democrat AG personally directed the Director of the FBI to change the term "investigation" to "matter", which fit the narrative of the Democrat party and the Hillary Clinton campaign.

Unlike the Trump shit where people search for smoke so they can ring the fire alarm, this is a publicly admitted attempt to "hack" the election by the highest law enforcement person in the country.

The truth of the matter is that the Dems have to delegitimize him until 2018 where they might be able to get back one of the branches of government and start slowing him down.

They have to because he's gang raping the entire party with his throbbing Queens dick from TPP, to deregulation, to Gorsuch, to the Paris climate agreement, to pipelines, to kicking Assad in the balls and reengaging with Iran's enemies, to powerful new federal judge nominations, to upgrading our totally out of date air traffic control system, to increasing military spending, etc. & etc.

He may be a hyperactive nutty fuck of a drama queen but he's tearing their world apart and they're terrified. Worse for them, he is a barbarian at the gates of Rome with a bloody battle axe reveling in the fight.

I've seen this covered on MSM press and the uber-progressive Pod Save America podcast, so I'm not sure about "almost completely ignored." Bill's tarmac meeting was in part what prompted Comey to criticize Hillary so sharply. Given the closeness of the election, Bubba arguably did more to hurt Hillary than any single person other than Comey himself. Pretty big news, but not as big as Trump stuff.

No it's not and it's silly to say so.

Not sure they have to do much to slow him down when he's barely moving. This was infrastructure week.

Comey knew his testimony alone wouldn't be enough to bring down Trump, but it's pretty clear he fears Trump is a serial liar and obstructor, such that an independent prosecutor was needed, lest Trump fire his way to burying any and all investigations.

Comey's testimony goes purely towards Trumps character. Have everyone leave the room, make the person's job depend on personal loyalty over honesty or legality, compel them to make bad truths go away.

Comey is but one string of a complex web of money laundering, back channels, disregard for common sense vetting procedures, ignoring intelligence, subterfuge, cover-ups and obstruction... throughout his inner circle.

It's early in the game ladies and gents. Early in the game.

My wife loves that podcast. After recommending it to me over and over for weeks, she finally played the latest episode in the kitchen while she was cooking dinner one night, so I *HAD* to hear it.

The one we listened to was interesting. I'm not much of a podcast consumer, but that one seems good.

There's another related one that she also likes, Pod Save The World, which I guess focuses more on foreign affairs.

From David Simon (creator of 'The Wire')
A year with some good detectives taught me that often WHAT ISN'T SAID is the actual tell. And note what isn't discussed between Trump and Comey. At no point does Trump make any concerted effort to discern whether or not Russia did in fact attempt to interfere in the election. Indeed, he notes that the claim has created a cloud over his governance -- so he can scarcely say that it isn't of real concern to him; his concern is premised in this meeting. Yet, he doesn't inquire as to what Comey and the FBI is yet discerning about Russia's role. He doesn't even do so as a means of disparaging the claim. (i.e. "I'm sure you're finding out that there's nothing to the claims of Russian interference, right?" It. Doesn't. Come. Up.

In this regard, I am reminded of every innocent and guilty man I ever witnessed in an interrogation room. The innocent ask a multitude of questions about what the detectives know, or why the cops might think X or Y or whether Z happened to the victim. The guilty forget to inquire. They know. An old law school saw tells young trial lawyers to remind their clients to stay curious in front of a jury. There's a famous tale of a murder case in which the body of the defendant's wife had not been recovered yet he was charged with the killing. Defense attorney tells the jury in final argument there's been no crime and the supposed victim will walk through the courtroom doors in 10 seconds. 30 seconds later the door remains shut. "Ok, she isn't coming today. But the point is all of you on jury looked, and that my friends is reasonable doubt. You must acquit."

Jury comes back in twenty minutes: Guilty. Attorney goes to the foreman: "I thought I had you." Foreman: "You had me and ten others. But juror number 8 didn't look at the door, he looked at your client. And he didn't eye the door, he was examining his nails."

Even when he was completely alone with Comey, Trump didn't look at the door. He eyed his nails. It's an absolute tell. Why? Because Trump already knows that there is some fixed amount of Russian interference on his behalf, and possibly, collusion as well.
