2016 was a binary choice of liars. Most of America outside the Elite Coastal Enclaves chose the liar they thought didn't openly disdain them and who just might have their economic and cultural interests at heart vs. the interests of the statist Progressive Borg.

If we get a couple of good SC justices, some manufacturing jobs, a few felonious invaders kicked out, and the bureaucratic state dialed back a bit w/o a depression, massive inflation, or another war, America will have made the better choice.

I am truly happy that the new R administration is pulling the illiberal SJW left out of the woodwork. It will be an improvement for sure. And the country desperately needs a little right pull back to some semblance of center. However, I have zero admiration for trump and I'm not sure why republicans feel they need to profess allegiance. My teenage son can put together more coherent sentences than Trump. And I do value honesty. Just because I didn't see it with Obama nor Clinton doesn't mean I'm ok with it now. Identify politics makes smart people look completely foolish

1 - I luxuriate in the tears & hysteria of the Left, especially Big Media. Trump is tearing it up and I love it.

2 - I will judge Trump by what he accomplishes.

As I've said before, all he has to do is Jumpstart the economy up above Obama's anemic 2 or 2.5%, and Trump will be well on track for reelection.* 3% would be nice and 4% would be stellar.

I like his first Supreme Court nominee and I would be delighted to see him fill two or three more vacancies. That would make him a truly consequential President.

I like some of his cabinet appointments. Anyone who hates Betsy DeVos: Fuck You. You have zero compassion for kids trapped in failing schools; you're right down there with Obama, who killed the educational choice program in DC.**

He seems to be doing more good than bad, so far. But we'll see. It's only been a month.
