The Washington Post webpage has like 50 articles about the election, above the webpage fold, below the fold, all of the opinions, etc.

On the FoxNews site, they don't even obliquely mention it until after a major article about Nature Boy Ric Flair and his alcohol problems and the fact that he likely banged over 10,000 women in his life. There is not single article that sums it up. You literally would not know there was an election yesterday. Got to protect the snowflakes from the bad news?

Edit: just took another look at FoxNews, and you have to scroll way down to find anything about an election yesterday. Anything at all. Crickets otherwise. It is in the land of the weird.

Redstate.com is covered with stories.

i'm reading about the first black mayor in helena, mt unseating a 4-term incumbent, and a lesbian elected to city council here, and a civil-rights activist elected prosecutor there. the narrative is a significant progressive, anti-trump election at all levels of government.

is the press cherry-picking anecdotes, or is that the story?

This is the story. Going forward, GOP House members are gonna have to chose: 1) Align with Trump; or 2) get primaried from the right by those who will run on the culture war politics of Team Trump.

Unfortunately for winner of that primary, in many cases, it's clear that massive increased Dem turnout (300k+ in VA alone) is gonna cause problems to those that align with Team Trump, especially in blue or purple states.

All available information shows that Collins, a 54-year-old Naval reservist and child protection specialist with the Montana Department of Health and Human Services, will become the first black mayor in Montana’s history.

This doesn't necessarily mean anything. Northam was a strong centrist-Democrat candidate who checked all the right boxes and knows how to get votes in the Hampton Roads area (Northam's being on the ticket was probably what put McAuliffe over the top in the last gubernatorial). Gillespie's a lobbyist with no real Virginia political connections.

Yeah, I thought of that when I thought of Sarah Huckabee Sanders saying you should never question the integrity of a 4 star.

I mean, Trump is at a bar in NYC, and there's a hot "woman" withing groping reach, and after hitting on her for a while and getting the "come on in big boy" signal, he just grab's em by the pussy (tm) #GEBTP and ends up with a handful of trannie junk.

You know it happened. The question is what he did next.

Joins the Air Force (as a ring knocker), makes O-5, and deservedly gets his ass kicked outside a Virginia bar?

I was barely hitting on 14 year olds when I was 14.

I keep thinking of Matthew McConaughey's character from Killer Joe...

Of course, if true, he deserves the bullet too. Just like they all do.

Let's make a distinction here. You people are celebrating avowed mentally ill and practicing sexual degenerates. Moore claims this is false and that he is not a pedo and that pedophilia is wrong.

If these men you are so happy about winning were denying the claims of their mental illness and sexual perversion and claiming that trannsexualism was a degeneracy, the cases would be similar.

Or, conversely, if Moore was an open and avowed pedophile who argued child-adult sex was a good thing.
