I think having a goal pace is the key. i get into a long row and think (for example), I don't want to drop under 2:20/500M. So, I will row to keep under that. But, I'm definitely more haphazard especially if I'm trying to keep my HR under a certain point.

Thanks for the feedback. I am probably going to try to do a 1/2 during the challenge if I can get a really easy day before hand.

1/2 Marathon - 1:38:02

Last year wrapped up the challenge with a 1/2 Marathon in 1:39:11 - Paced it better this year for an avg of 2:19.4. Each split was in the 2:19.X range.


Finished the challenge with 212,113m raised $6.48 \:D/

Nice work on the half.

Just got off work and put in the last 10k for the challenge. Ended up with 253,997. I need a break.
I don't have a lot of experience with vampires, but I have hunted werewolves. I shot one once, but by the time I got to it, it had turned back into my neighbor's dog.
