My son (7) just started wrestling this winter. It's been cool but frustrating...the Coach knows his shit back and forth, he wants the kids so very badly to learn and love the sport, but the practices are too long by 30 minutes and he spends too much time talking AT them and so he loses about half the room. Now I say this without having any idea how the fuck I would teach a room of 7 year olds to wrestle, but that index card sounds like a good start.

Also kind of cool to see my kid as an athlete--things I knew (not super aggressive), things I didn't (very quick first step...did not get that from me).

Tell you what, being born and raised in NYC, we don't have schools like that....friggin' enormous place.

To be clear, my wife took the course not me. But she is indeed a southern fried friend and some pics floating around the net indicate she has awesome and well kept feet.
