Delightful BMac Observations

Post by Shafpocalypse Now » Sat Feb 27, 2016 4:09 am

"...he was a high school water polo player."
"...he couldn't perform a band resisted run because POSE running doesn't include any kind of forward drive."

About BMac being the worst Crossfit Football seminar attendee ever.

Dude doesn't deserve his own thread. He can ride on the coat-tails of threads about other goo-roos.

How to completely destroy your credibility

http://docandjock.com/breathing-for-performance/
In Episode 51 the Doc (Danny Matta) and Jock (Joe Szymanek) talk about Danny’s recent experience at Brian MacKenzie’s (the founder of CrossFit Endurance) Performance Breathing Camp. The fellas cover the in’s and out’s of Brian’s thoughts on using The Training Mask, incorporating Wim Hof breathing for better performance and of course getting naked in the snow.
The rabbit hole gets deeper and deeper

Fucking hell.

Renowned human performance pioneer Brian MacKenzie.

Hey can anyone tell me when the next Pose running seminar is? I would like to learn how to run some marathons by wearing low profile running shoes and never going over 800m in my training.
In the mill, getting down.

I was listening to a podcast the other day where they had @fit endurance disciples training for Comrades with a plan of never going about ~9k because "it's the easiest thing in the world to slow down" so the idea was to practice running as quickly as possible then the pace required to finish would be like sitting on the sofa.

You can't debate ideas like that.

Not fair. I did some training with Romanov last year and he is far from a low mileage guy. In passing his son mentioned that several shoe companies have contacted him wanting official endorsements but the old man decided to be shoe agnostic.

A friend lifted in a powerlifting meet once only training twice a week for 8 mins using a thighmaster and half a set of perfect pushup handles. And he went superslow.

Do you think a thightmaster would help me not to finish a 20 kilometer ruck run with 44-55#? Hadn`t even thought about the possibility of using the tightmaster!

Oh I don't know dick about Romanov; just remembering all the copy around Mr. Unscared and his CrossFit Endurance aka Hey, You Don't Really Have to Run That Long Now

Bobby,

I can give you a lot of varied and challenging modalities to assist you in attaining a DNF.

Is it true that he's DNF'd every event he ever signed-up for?

Because if it is, as of yesterday I have completed more endurance events than he has. And that one was my first.

It'd be great if "Finished more endurance than Beian Mackenzie, and- also invented Legit Dick Steroids" could be my Internet claim to fame.

Give him some credit. He didn't start some of them.

Seriously, I've wanted to make a graph of his actual finishes where his times gradually worsen until he just DNF/DNS everything. It would save effort explaining why this is dumb.
One of the downsides of the Internet is that it allows like-minded people to form communities, and sometimes those communities are stupid.

Is everybody going to laugh at me and make fun of me if I ask why people give him money?
