April...

Dicking around trying to get my endurance back up , though I do like sprinting eg 8-12 sec max efforts.
Running , Kbs , LCCJ , Sn

5.4
40kg OALCCJ 10 mins 30/30

Will probably compete in Sydney this weekend, though I'm doing a WS before and helping running the comp
Not sure what I'll do , anything from 20-40kg , we'll see how I feel. Just another training session.
Then get ready for Russia and true knowledges! Followed by the woolsack race in late May.

10.4
Got back from Sydney after GSAA comp yesterday
All up over 2 venues we had 22 entrants
I am a bit underdone endurance wise , so did 40kg OALCCJ 28/29 in 10 [email protected] bw. Happy with result given that I've barely touched that weight in the past year (mainly 24 & 28 in recent months)
<1/2 hr later did a 24kg snatch set for 9 mins but grip was pretty much cooked by the 40kg set

Congrats, Treb.

A truly trenchant performance across a broad modal domain.

Thanks lads! It was a great day out! The story goes that in the old days the victor would get to bed the Helen of his choice.
One highlight was spotting the highly eccentric Lord Bath (aged79) who has had around 75 "wifelets" over the years. He's got some Safari Park and the mansion of course.
I can imagine the Nuge running rampage there.

Tazzie,how was your training camp in Russia :?:::; Did you get some "secrets" ? Does that change your training programs/styles :?:::;

My good fellow , an excellent experience that just reinforced the need to be hypercritical with technique - and to train in a progressive and predicatble manner. Deni's stretching demo was gold , and Rudnev truly has encylopaedic knowledge. You can't argue with real results!

For now I am training biathlon again and using Ryabchenko approach as in previous lives. But I am trying to combine J&S into one session rather than past split sessions, which ended up with not enough rest days. So , each session is inherently harder and longer , but if I can achieve that without Viagra I am happy.

Just finished 1st microcycle of pushing towards our first national comp in September. Training with 28 & 24kg. Last 3 sessions = 9,10,11 tonnes lifted OH - 3 sets J 3 sets Sn. Main current issue is with a tight ITB - and for that you can blame muchos winter garden work (surprisingly busy time of year , getting ready for spring) - plus running - and crouching under my project cars replacing suspension bits and so on.
But my trusty foam roller gets me through each day! Kippis!

Nice to hear that your visit was good. I have tried different programs and trying train 3-6 times a week.
Seems that best for me is : training - day off - training,,,So 3-4 times a week. And I believe that most "easy reps" in future comes from tecnical side :idea:
I haven´t try Ryabchenko method yet,because I haven`t find template to snatch. My friend Kalle Pyykkönen make modified Ryabchenko method computer. Have you seen that :?:::;
65 % of my training time is active recovery(morning mobilization,stretching,reset(shaking-vibratin cooldown system )etc. My problems are old injuries.They climb up to surface after 5 minutes lifting and twisted my body and distroes my tecnique :superfuckingpissed:
I hope we see future in some veterans word shampionship :?:::; After that ,kippis mate :partyman:
