Something tweaked around the delt/pec connection around rep 8 on the first BP set and caused major slowdown as I was debating if it was worth pushing through or time to bail, unfortunate since I was on pace for a decent dozen reps but I'm glad I went on with the set as it does not appear to be more than some minor tweak. I had to be relatively conservative on the second set as well since the area was tight. I need to descend somewhat slower, apparently generating too much force on the rebound for that area at the moment. Also need to warm up better...

Stopping the BP about 4" above chest and making the decent somewhat slower than normal to avoid the shearing at the bottom. I still felt the slight tweak in my right shoulder, but it never got beyond some tightness, so all is good. I'll never get 3 white lights, but I'm still pushing and that is more important to me for now.

Still felt the chest delt tweak on the BP slightly on the first set, not so much on the second, but thankfully all is well. I was really gassed for teh M. Press and felt a tweak in my right wrist on the second set, had to cut it as I had nothing left to give but the crappy 4 reps. I've got several little tweaks right now so I'm going to tread lightly the next few days and see where everything shakes out. No squatting today and maybe none Friday either. All in, not a terrible showing considering the damage I caused myself over the last few days... :supz: :supz: :supz:

Wasn't going to squat but felt that I was ok enough for an ez couple sets. The warmups felt heavy though, so I was squatting scared. I did not want to re-injure the back, once it was a bit of a strain, racked it. Should be ready to rock by next sq workout on Wed.

Decided to drop the sets to 2 per exercise like with the pressing. I was starting to really gas at the end of the back workouts and to dread the exercises, so time for a change. This should keep me moving in the right direction for a bit more before I need to swap these moves out. Weight is at an all time high, strength is slowly headed in that direction.

* BP form sucks ass. I'm losing power/drive everywhere. First thing to focus on is leg drive, of which I maybe do on 1/2 the reps. Right pec/elt connectiuon still feels funny at times, no likey.

** This was absolutely harder than it needed to be since I'm still a little scared of re-tweaking or full blown fucking up the back. I was thinking too much which made the sets take too long. I'm still happy with what I got, but expect to hit 20 reps next Sq workout. I'm curious where the regular squat will end up once I get back to it, since when I switched over to the SSB I hit 2x10 w/285. Hoping I'll finally get back over 3 plates for reps, I'm such a pussy. :goodman:

Used 3# hand weights as needed to get the heart rate up, usually 1:00 on 1:00 off then nothing the last 5:00 - just fucking around.

Back to it, unfortunately, felt like shit most of today, so it was a miracle I even worked out. Took it ez on the sq since my legs were a bit cramped from riding down to the keys last night. Hard to beat riding a bike to catch a sunset down in the keys, sitting on the edge of the bay and sip a few beers with my hottie. Rode back up under the stars, fucking perfect Sunday.

First time using power hooks, definitely makes db work easier, just gotta get used to them. Oh, not going to pork up, will either try to hold at 215 and tighten up some before going up again, or shed down to ~ 205. I'm not sure how I'm going to respond to the diet tweaks so I'll just play it by ear.
