Oh,I know that one.Acouple of weeks ago I did trap bar deadlifts in the morning and sandbag carries in the evening=a couple of days with a sore hip area (felt a bit like when you have problems with the sciatic (?) nerve).Sometimes one forgets that one is past 40!
You`ll toughen up.Unless you have a serious medical condition commonly refered to as
"being a pussy".

Squats up to 315 when the rib pain got really bad. Chiro says possible dislocation and/or out of the spinal socket briefly.
2-3 weeks with no weight on the shoulders or pressing overhead.
FUCK!

Chiro worked on me twice today and I am almost pain free. Still no weight for a few days now instead of weeks. But pain free makes the YRG easier and longer

I'm not great shakes at pressing but something you might try to keep your core engaged for pressing while you take time off is one handed waiters walk with a DB or KB. will remind the supporting musculature how to stay tight. is als a great warm up for OH pressing in general. give it a try. one handed waiters and one handed farmers are great reminders for your midsection.
