My natural habitat

Last I was on here I was a live action wrestling dummy at a folk wrestling club. I have not wrestled in over a year, my shoulders gave out. Out of the 8 kids who used me as a wrestling dummy 7 made it to D1 wrestling teams. All 8 of them are doing great school wise in college.

As for now my lifting and junk has sucked, for this past year my shoulders have been very limiting I have a bone that is raised up on the top of my right shoulder. For a wile pressing 20lbs dbs hurt. I do not have the pain I had, but I have to watch what I do. I realize that I will need surgery at some point.

I can not remember the last time I was not training for some comp or something. Training for health or life or whatever sucks. I have been doing a bunch of grip, kbs and indian club junk (they have helped with my shoulder a lot), fishing and in the woods a bunch. I will start posting train next week.

Went into the woods to hunt mushrooms. The up and downs killed me. I have a lot of green crap still in my lungs

I opened my gym for my Sunday group. I did not do much fooled around with some indian clubs.

I started a punching bag tempo workout. I set one timer for the set 6minutes and another for :05 and :08 for the tempo. I have two everlast timers might could do it from one but I do not know how. The timers do hold two times. the tempo is slow, work, sprint. it would look something like this slow on the bell work on two bells slow on the bell sprint on the bell work on the two bells slow on the bell sprint and so on. I did not make 4 minutes I had so much crap coming out of my nose I could not get my breath. I stopped fooled around with some kbs and went home. I did not workout again for the week.

plate wrist curls

My mace is home made. I made it from 2 pvc pipes one inside the other. one end has a stopper that is the handle the other I sealed with a elbow then cut it off just leaving the threads to seal it, that way I can get the plates on and off. I use exercise plates. To keep the plates on I use hose clamps. It has some good flex, I noticed on some Indian exercise and wrestling dvds that they have good flex to them. Because of my shoulder I can not do much weight I have just 23 3/4 on it. I should also say that I use 2 hose clamps on each side of the plates. So far it has not moved even with my dimwitted sister grabbing it and using it for hammer winds.

I set one timer for the set 6minutes - total time, and another for :35-work and :15-rest. Then I throw the med ball and sprit to it throw it back and so on. By the end it was not a sprint. took 5 and did it again.

My girl friend took her kids to rock on the range this past weekend, I was planning on a big weekend of mushroom hunting and fishing, but the river was way up and I was worried about flash flooding in the hills. So it was a bust, when I looked out the window it killed me.

did the punching bag tempo workout from above. I made it to the 6 minutes. I did not use the discipline I should have it was a lot of slow.

one hand one club 17 and change lbs 15 minutes

I got this from dd years ago. I pass from hand to hand a 16lbs shot put then push throw it into the air and then catch it with the hand I started with. It looks like juggling. The catch is where it is at, I try and catch it in different spots. I did a bunch of this I do not know how much.

kb bu clean and press 53lbs A bunch

I had a lot of fun

Spring squirrel, was super fun! This was my first chance to test my David Hogg rifle/shotgun, I got it on 3/24/18. It is a Chiappa double Badger, I love it. I should have tested the 410 better. I am told that I did not have enough confidence in it to get past the thick leaves and distance. I did not take shots I should have. I was up and down hiking and sitting. What I am doing in the gym is working, I killed the up and down.
