Article and a Book - both Fighting

Cool short article in the new Esquire (4 Victoria Secret models recreating Angie Dickinson's famous pose on the cover) by Chuck Klosterman on Mailer being the last real writer to really care about boxing. Interesting points about the irrelevance of vilolence ( the getting punched in the nose kind) in the real world. Some of it's of it's clever writer BS, but always interesting to read something about fighting not written in "Tapout" lingo.

Fight - by Eugene Robinson - kind of table top book with great pictures and a random group of articles, from street fighting to MMA, and of course a pic of Uncle Charles from "Hard Times". Very cool.

I saw it but was a little bit unimpressed. I'll take a second swing through it.

For those who may have missed it, I already wrote a sharp, insightful, amusing, accurate review of this book:

BTW, Mak, don't think I didn't notice how you're willing to listen to HIM, but not me. [-( In the words of Jack, "Pffft!"
