So far I might be the only person in the world who watched this last night but eh.
All in all the show was pretty entertaining in a guy's show sort of way. There is a tough main character, shooting folks, Neo Nazi's, hot chicks, etc. Timothy Oliphant probably won't win any awards for his performance, but it seems to be a fun show to watch while drinking some scotch or some beer.

Elmore Leonard created and is producing it so it should have some pretty sharp dialoge as well as action

I've read a shitload of Elmore Leonard. I don't anymore because every single book is the same.
It's like he has a fill in the blanks template:
Pick protagonist:
-lawyer
-bounty hunter
-cop of some kind
-ex-military of some kind
-criminal of soem kind
Pick environment
-Detroit
-Las Vegas
-Los Angeles
-Somewhere in Florida
Pick treasure
-Bag of money
-Nuclear bomb
-Jewels
-Hot ass pussy

Shaf,
I suppose you can do that with Leonard, but some of his books have other elements.
High Noon in Detroit is basically a cop and a criminal in a testosterone contest.
There is another element in a lot of Leonard that I like. It's the "you picked the wrong guy to fuck with" deal. I suppose the best of those was Valdez is Coming (when Leonard was still writing westerns.) Also, Mr. Majestyk comes to mind. The new film, Killshot, has an out of control criminal and an pro assassin up against a white bread sort of couple.
Get Shorty is a different sort of Leonard altogether.
Writers generally revere Leonard for his pitch perfect dialogue and stylistic flair.
