Red Tag Market- eBay Seller

I'm having the worst time getting a DVD I ordered from these folks. I bought it; I paid for it; they shipped it (or so they say).
Problem is, they use DHL global mail. Now, I understand that shipping something all the way from North Carolina to California means crossing several state borders and dealing with customs, but DHL GLOBAL mail?

Really?

The fucking DVD has been stuck in Carson, CA for 11 days. Apparently, according to Red Tag's customer service, it may be clearing customs (an actual response from them) and I should call the post office (who DHL handed the package off to) to find out what's happening.

I should call? These fucks need to get their shit straight when it comes to customer service. They have been no help at all.
I'm sending another message to them asking them to get this right or send back my hard earned 15 bucks.

Think twice before bidding or buying from Red Tag Market.

DHL sucks stateside. They had a reputation for a long time where they would get contracts by undercutting Fedex and UPS on price, but were lousy re timely delivery and damaged packages. They lost a lot of the business they got within a few months.

For international stuff, DHL is pretty good-- they go a lot of places that UPS doesn't go, and have better prices than Fedex.

This is what I thought until I got the tracking info. I believe most DHL's domestic routes were purchased by FedEx.

They suck nonetheless.

There's no such thing as customs for transactions that don't cross national borders.

Yes he was.

Update: I gave them a negative rating on eBay. Waiting to hear how they respond to that. Normally, sellers hate any negative feedback and will try to get it removed. We'll see.
