Fun movie - good character development for the most part.
Went to 3D showing because it was all that was available - technology didn't add anything to the story nor experience.

No, you're thinking of Black Snake Moan, and it was Samuel L Jackson.

Avengers was decent enough but the crowd was packed with faggots who cheered at numerous ridiculous things and laughed at the little kid humor it is filled with.
Not anywhere near enough Hulk or Thor. Robert Downey Jr was mostly annoying.
Recommend to avoid if you don't give a fuck about the Avengers else-wise.

Well, that is like, your opinion, man.
I thought it was great.
Joss Whedon was a great pick for Director and he really handled an ensemble cast well, as always. My favorite character was Batman. You never really got a clear shot of him (he is the dark knight) but yo ualways knew he was there, helping in the background.

They seriously cheered.......and laughed? Did you show them what a stoic MAN looks like when he watches a movie based on a comic book?

Standing ovations for Stan Lee and everything any Avenger does is too much imo.

I'm looking forward to this movie, but I hope to see it after the nutjobs have had their fill.

I try to limit my trips to the theater to the middle of a weekday when ever possable so I don't have to do with loud bullshit and the naggers.

Some friends of ours, for reasons we still can't comprehend, went to that Michael Jackson movie a few years ago at a theater in downtown Baltimore and were stunned at how loud the crowd was during the movie.....

Nice to see the Hulk steal the show. And Black Widow got a lot of screen time.

A friend drug me to see the Mel Gibson Jesus movie years back - that is the only crowd that I have ever seen that really, really annoyed me.
If you don't like cheering, you should come watch movies in Asia. Most people are too busy checking their iPhones to pay attention to what is happening on the screen.

When I get back home I'm thinking of catching a mid afternoon showing.

That interpretation is even more funny when compared with this actual movie poster, where they used Downey Jr.'s head to hide the magnificence of Hulk's arse.

By far the best of all the Marvel superhero movies of recent years. Pretty much fires on all cylinders from start to finish.
