The most Bond-like of the Craig movies by far. My wife actually shed tears of joy at the fanservice office scene at the end. She is such a fangirl.

I really really liked Casino Royale and thought this was one as good if not a little better, imo. Definitely the best two of them all.

Nah...this Bond flick was good, but not great. Casino Royale is still the best Craig/Bond movie. He is no Connery though....50+ years later, Dr. No for the win!!!!

Must disagree. I love Connery but Craig is a better bond. Connery was smooth though. I was watching a bond marathon the other weekend and the old movies kinda suck compared to the new ones what with the new technology and such.

Fuck
That
Noise

OG Bond chain smoked, drank like a fish, ate red meat and banged multiple bitches per episode. NG Bond cries in every film.

LOL! I kind of see your point but I still like new Bond better.

Yep. It took 50 years but Craig is better.

I'm not surprised by Spells, but Mickey's seemingly homosexual opinion threw me off a little bit.

There is no bond other than Connery. The rest are impostors.

The Connery Bond was limited by namby-pamby restrictions on film violence at that time.
When the Craig Bond killed the guy in the bathroom at the start of Casino Royale, a new Bond was born.

And, yes, Casino Royale was the best of the Craig Bond series. So far.

No no no no no no no no no no no, no.

You people are fucked in the head.

Not only is Connery THE James Bond, even Roger Moore in Live and Let Die beats Craig's 'softer side of Bond' that we've been subjected to in recent flicks The Connery Bond would have smacked the ever living shit out of that chick who embezzled all that cash from him when he 'retired'....not that the Connery Bond would ever retire for a chick, of course. Now I can see where Mickey would like the less than six foot version of Bond for height purposes but the rest of you are batshit crazy.

Last but not least, Craig hates being 007.

Somebody put LSD in your Nutribullet, Yo. Check it.

And slap yourself in the nuts a dozen times with a 1 1/2 inch manila rope with a Monkey's Fist tied in the end. Then tell us about the softer side of Bond!

It's a retcon-- Craig becomes Connery. All downhill from there to Dalton though.

Agree. Craig is the new Connery, before Connery became Connery.

Sounds like somebody might have a little too much of a man crush on Connery

Well time to weigh in with my considerable opinion. I'm going to agree with Nappy but not quite on which Connery movie was the best. For me Thunderball has the most appeal, then probably Goldfinger, then Dr. No. I also have great affinity for Diamonds are Forever but that was his last one with the Broccoli's and you can maybe sense in that one that he was done with it. They tried Lazenby and he wasn't down for another so that probably didn't sit well with Connery either. I also had a super teenage boner for Jill St. John.

Comparing the two...Connery to Craig, isn't really fair to either one. Completely different eras with different expectations. But what gives Connery the edge in my opinion is he defined the genre and established the template for the sophisticated but capable man of action that everyone even today still wants to emulate.

Goddamned right. I'm heading out to get a liter of Smirnoff, a jar of olives and three packs of Camel shorties....be right back.

Craig knows the important comparison right now is with Jason Bourne, who has emoting diarrhea.

My problem with the last two Bond movies (loved Casino Royale) is that he runs too much. Connery Bond was too cool for that mess.

Connery all day.

Craig Bond experimented with queer sex in college.
