I'm not going to lie...I like it...I like it a lot.

Not really into the bodyweight training right now, but when the time comes (and it will) to take a break from heavy iron and rebuild/heal the body then this is definitely what I will be pulling from in terms of exercise selection and programming.

This eBook (and the "e" is for excellent) is WAY better than that Convict Conditioning bullshit. Tom doesn't waste your time with page after page of anti-weightlifting dogma and how bodyweight training is the only thing that will turn you into a Spartan-Ninja that is unfuckablewith and nigh invulnerable to same sex rape. Seriously, Tom jumps right into his desire to put out a plan of extreme minimalism...a program based around sensible progressions that involve the biggest bang for your buck exercises. And, that's exactly what he provides. I like the fact that his exercise selection and progressions give you equipped and unequipped options. CC made the assumption that you are locked in a prision cell with a basketball and a chin up bar...how stupid is that. Tom's progressions incorporate suspension trainers if you want to go that route, as well as an option of using a weight vest (and he shows you how to make a ghetto affordable option in case you spend all your money trying to keep an artist girlfriend who is WAY out of your league and entertaining her numerous hot girlfriends from the interracial porn industry).

The presentation is nice, and the photos are clear and professional (would have been better if Tom wasn't in every one of them). I like the minimalist philosophy and the minimalist approach to the book design itself. The numerous anecdotes and quotes from various fitness gurus, athletes, IGXers, and celebrities at the beginning of the book was a nice touch and informative. I especially liked the way Tom addressed bodyweight training's inherent deficiency in terms of being able to overload and develop the posterior chain. He gives us some straight to the point minimalist options for that as well.

I like it, and quite frankly I don't think I'll ever spend another dime on anything related to bodyweight training. My honest opinion is that our very own Tom Furman has penned and produced the ultimate bodyweight (mostly) based training program that embraces the ultra minimalist philosophy while also embracing equipment to shore up deficiencies and get the maximum effectiveness from the routine. Overall, it is a refreshing take on an old topic, and one that seems to have had some heart and soul put into it.

For something short and practical that I will go back to time and again, you can't beat $10 and quick service.

Get off your dead asses and order it. It's good stuff by itself, and supporting Tom will ensure that even better products will get put out.

Thanks, Tom...it's a nice product and contribution to the fitness library.

Wait doesn't Seeahill get a mention, or do paint by number books no longer count?

This delivers exactly what it says it will. It's short, simple, and minimalist. It's also cleanly laid out, clearly written, and absolutely affordable.

It's really not too far off from what I've been doing lately - but it's much better. I'm going to give it a go for a while unless my assorted dings conspire against me. Tom and I are of a similar age and build (though he lacks my magnificent gleaming dome) so I may end up Shagtastic before this is over with a high end artist babe of my own.

So far so good! Right off the bat I like how the book is laid out.

Better than if Tom had let Dragon Dork publish it for him. DuCane was about as bad as me sometimes with spellcheck and I never went to Limey school.

Just picked it up.

A quick read through confirms the high praise it's getting. Definitely going to incorporate some BW training into my routine. Been feeling a bit stale in my current program.

Thanks Tom.

I agree. It contains everything it needs and nothing it doesn't. You can sit down, read through it quickly and walk away with as much (or more) than you would from most books that are 10 times as long.

It's a $10 nugget that cuts through a lot of bullshit that you will come back to again and again.

Furman I bought your book and vow to not give it away.

It is a brilliant format. Short, correct info. More (all?) GooRoos should streamline their shit.

Nothing earth-shattering for anyone who has been around but a great gift for anyone who might be considering getting into some BW stuff at a novice level (or really I guess we can assume even the average "intermediate" guy to be a tard in reality).

Good shit.

I see no stars in this bunch of smilies nonsense so four precious hearts:
