The Last Place on Earth.

It's a really well made/written/acted 1985 production about the race to the south pole. When I rented it, I thought it was just going to be about Scott, but it has both teams featured. They do a nice job of contrasting the personalities and managing styles of Scott and Amundsen.

To be honest I haven't finished it yet, but I loved the first disc and thought of this thread.

The Last Enemy miniseries may be worth a watch. Surveillance state, bad vaccine, government coverup, and family drama combined in one series. Great cast, but a few plot holes. It's available on DVD from Netflix, or you can watch it on youtube.

Any of you ever see "Lead Balloon"? Pretty funny. Also "People Like Us".

Netflix finally arrived in Aus a couple of weeks ago.

Watched both series of The Fall. Fucking loved it and now series 3 is happening.

Watched the first series of Line of Duty which was also brilliant. Just watched the first episode of series two and it was bloody hard not to watch episode two straight after.

Got Wallander lined up next and then The Tunnel (English/French version of The Bridge).
