2009.12.10PM; jiujitsu...had 14 students yesterday, not one today. So I spent an hour sweeping and vacuuming the academy, and then rolled with a blue belt for a while when he came in. After that was the seminar with Clark Gracie, Kron Gracie, and Joel Tudor. Interesting to note that Clark is significantly better than Kron, something I had not expected. Aloha!

Clark's Dad- Carley, not too shabby.

# Brazilian Champion from 1969 through 1972 in both competition jiu-jitsu and Vale Tudo.
# Never defeated in any match, public or private, not even within the Gracie family!
# Master of Jiu-Jitsu, officially ranked 8th degree Red-and-Black Belt by the Federation in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
# First member of the Gracie family to teach the Gracie style of jiu-jitsu in the United States
# Considered to be the most technical of the Gracie fighters
# Last of the Gracie fighters to be personally trained and coached by Carlos Gracie, the creator of the Gracie style of jiu-jitsu.

Carley is actually more than a little insane, and most of that is rubbish. Please note that Clark represents Carlson Gracie Jiujitsu as his clique. Relson was very close with Carlson and Carlson Jr. was staying with him all last week.

It looks very interesting...many of the exercises do appear very similar to pilates. I'll have to take more time to go through it though. As far as the scans, they were very interesting, nothing revolutionary but interesting and welcome.

2009.12.12PM; bodybuilding...so I hit the wall the middle of this week, Thursday on, and was feeling exhausted. I chose to skip the light .65 day on Wednesday night and pushed the final workout of this cycle, Friday's medium day to Saturday. Last night was Aggrolites until 2:00 so I slept in and took it easy, then did this workout, the last for the next 8 days. I am now finished with my term, so I have no school obligations until January something and will be back at jiujitsu this Monday.

1. Two Arm Press 3 x 8 @ 105 lbs. = 2520 lbs.
2. Two Arm Curl 3 x 10 @ 60 lbs. = 1800 lbs.
3. BB Floor Press 3 x 10 @ 105 lbs. = 3150 lbs.
4. Bent Rowing 3 x 10 @ 105 lbs. = 3150 lbs.
5. Squat 3 x 10 @ 105 lbs. = 3150 lbs.
6. Stiff Legged Dead Lift 3 x 10 @ 105 lbs. = 3150 lbs.
7. Calf Raise 3 x 30 @ 105 lbs. = 9450 lbs.

Elapsed Time: 36:55
Volume: 26,370 lbs.

Saw them in concert this past February. They were an opening band for Flogging Molly.
