Just me and Wilson. Got him once with an arm lock, once with a nasty wrist lock, & once with a choke from rear mount. Got rewarded with a savage arm triangle by Wilson. Good times.

BJJ:
1 hr of open mat. Got subbed by a shoulder lock by Wilson. Got the same shoulder lock a bit later in him. Played with 2 of the white belts just using solid pressure and forcing them to use good framing and caught an elbow in my jaw for my troubles. Ended up choking the shit out of him for that elbow a few mins later from north south.

There is a comp back home in February that I’m debating on doing when I come back. Dunno yet.

Wanted to row but the goofy fucking CrossFitters keep bringing the rowers outside where the chains get a shit ton of sand in them. Now they are skipping badly.

Took turns starting in positions that we normally have trouble with. Fun stuff. Ended up getting Wilson more than he got me. Some slick armlocks were done and he got me with one helluva darce choke.

Now to work on some troublesome switch configs and wish I had a beer.

Wanted to try for the 100 reps seeing as the whole point of these squats were to prep for return to 32kg LC. It sucked but I got it.

BJJ 1 hr

Used a uniform top to mimic the gi. Got caught by a clock choke the first go around. Second go around managed to take Wilson’s back and get a collar choke. 3 go saw me snag a shoulder lock from north south just like in the vid I posted to my timeline today. That led to us practicing the move some and ended with us doing chess.

Chess is a game where you get 3 moves, then your opponent gets 3 moves. Alternating back and forth. It slows everything down and allows you to really think through the strategy of the movements.

Sore as hell already from the squats and BJJ. Currently debating on spending this next week as a deload.
