I respectfully disagree. The books move, there are some interesting situations, but most you've it seen before. (The Russian Mafia is after me and I don't know why, yet.)

Not badly written, but a roller coaster of the type you think when done, "well, I don't have to do that again."

A certain lack of any depth, IMHO, and a staccato burst of violent scenes. Sorta like porn: don't give me any story, let's just see some penetration.

Impressive analysis. You're a writer, IIRC, yes? I thought they were well written, and did provide me a few chuckles along the way. I guess I'm easily entertained.

Agreed, they are somewhat a variation on a theme, and in some instances stretch one's suspension of disbelief, but then there's nothing new under the sun. Sometimes I just like a little mindless entertainment whilst taking a shit.
