Re: Pavhole on Rogan
I've interviewed/interrogated people for over 30 years and Pavel shows some serious signs of deception throughout this interview. His first response to the question of when he started lifting kettlebells. Raised his arm to answer the question. He was like a cat on a hot tin roof during the whole thi...

Condor Knife and Tool Heavy Duty Kukri
I got my Kukri today from Knifecenter.com. All I can say is for under $60.00 you are not going to find a better deal. The quality of this Kukri is over the top for the price. Heavy and vicious. Nice leather sheath that fits like a glove. If your into big blades this one is for you. http://www.knifec...

Re: 1911 .45 query....
While we're on the 1911 topic here has anyone had any experiences good or bad with the 10 rd 1911 mags. I'm considering a purchase but wont bother if the they're not reliable.

Re: 1911 .45 query....
I had the opportunity to shoot the Ruger SR1911 last spring and I thought it was an awesome gun, very tight, accurate and appeared to be very well made. I wouldn't hesitate to buy one if you can find one. The price is very reasonable for what you get. I've owned Colt's and the Ruger was better than ...

Re: Tatoo shops in MN?
HVLN I like to think I can handle myself on a good day. The dude was very big, very tatted and very old school biker type. If I recall he was wearing bib overalls. There's a big difference between old school biker types and the newer version. Knowing the difference is important if you know what I me...

I got a Dave Yurkew tattoo in 1994. It's held up pretty well. The shop was on Nicollet south of Lake St. at that time. He was a intimidating guy.

Cold Steel Trail Master
Excellent knife. Took my Trail Master on a four day trip into the Boundry Waters Canoe Area in northern MN. Two of the four days it was in the 50's with steady rain and wind. I used the knife to clear an area and mostly split wood. The Trail Master batons through thick logs with no problem. The knif...

I worked at the Hamm's/Strohs plant in St. Paul when I was 20. I heve been dinking a lot of Hamm's lately. I forgot what a really good beer it is. I don't know if it's the original formula but it sure is good. When I was a kid growing up on the East Side of St. Paul, MN thats all anyone drank was Ha...
