Introduction

I have been a long time lurker here, but for some reason it took several years and Tom Furman to get my account activated...

I'm from Denmark, Crossfit and socialist capital of Europe, and currently studying to become a physical therapist. I've dabbled in some karate and juijitsu, but my primary activity up to this point has been yoga for a long time. 3 years ago I got some anxiety issues, and found out that when I actually had to solve a mental issue and "look inside" in a profund and usefull way, yoga didn't do anything for me. All the classical asanans, pranayama, Yoga Nidra/relaxataion didn't help me - sitting down and not moving 30 min. did. And so i found meditation and have have been pursuing different schools of meditation. Primarily Rinzai Zen, but also a little Tibetan Kagyu, and found that Buddhist philosophy resonates with me, as long it is from the "sit down and wait" school of thought instead of the stressing buddhist theory kind.

The reason i train is simply to gain/maintain health and vitality and make it last through the ages, and to be fit (bodily unburdened) enough to do whatever I want whenever the opportunity arises - don't care to be XTREME ELITE. I attempt to do this in the simplest way possible, currently through a daily mix of JM, yoga, BWE and meditation. My training log will probably end up with many posts where I elaborate/ramble on how my own training fits in with my goal of overall "health" sprinkled with topics of interest from my PT study.

I figured out why it took so long for your account to get activated.

I am looking forward to seeing your log though. Just don't be a little bitch like Beer Jew and we're good.

This welcome doesn't really do "overflowing with foulmouthed ignorance" justice...where's the hate?

Holy gorilla buttfucking crispy christ. Another fucking eurofag.

It's first post isn't simmering with self importance, elitism, and condescension so it's gotta be rant.

Oh great another piece of Eurotrash for Shape to enjoy. I hope you like camping and bald headed men with large ears.

From reading your intro I got the impression you have limp dainty wrists and like to provide services at truck stops.

Oh yeah welcome!

Please tell me that "Xian" isn't short for "Christian". That would be too ghey. If you are a Christian, but moreso if your actual name is Christian. I know people say not to jump back in to your Intro thread, but you are safe to confirm or deny this. Trust me on this.
