A hefty fee (tax) to register a gun. A hefty annual fee (tax) to retain ownership and possession of the gun(s). Possession of an unregistered gun will net you time in the joint.
Seeing a shrink? Will be a matter of public record. Record will include the shrink's diagnosis and all his/her notes. Cops will decide whether or not a given patient will be allowed to have a gun. Of course this will cover military veterans coming home with PTSD.

Gorby. Will it be a win when Obama castrates all our branches and checks and balances of our government during this term as king and then becomes absolute dictator of the US like Putin is in your favorite country?

Absolutely not, Andy. I favour slow, sustainable stripping of rights. Best if the liberal cloak smuggles in another Quisling to do the last few bits of careful deconstruction. When the guns are gone, everything in the anti-freedom conspiracy gets closer. We're on a roll. We're winning. We only need to fear the frontiersmen now. Those brave and clever enough to know there is treachery afoot. They need to be smoked out and legally wrapped up for ultimate victory.

No, they won't take the guns away. Just forced registration of each and every one in order to collect the enormous amount of perpetual revenue therefrom. Prison for having an unregistered gun and trying to avoid paying the fees (taxes). Slave labor camps for life if using a gun in the commission of a crime.

Did you actually read the executive signings that have everybody up in arms (pun intended)? They include rather radical changes to the American way of life like publishing letters, executive reviews, launching safety campaigns and clarifying unclear wording in previously passed bills. These are being translated as "gun owners are now criminals!" and "feds are coming to take our guns!".
Snark is all such comments deserve.
