Let us briefly discuss the oft ignored belly button.

A "guy I know" was working on one arm push ups and doing some dips last night when something tweaked just behind his belly button. it doesn't seem like an inguinal hernia. It's definitely still an inny and it doesn't feel like the intestine is where it doesn't belong. But, it does feel a bit odd just behind the belly button. It's not a muscle pull and doesn't hurt at all, it just feels a bit different.

He did some light DL's along with Hindu squats and Hindu push ups today with no discomfort. Just a peculiar feeling at the belly button.

What the hell's back there and what may have happened to "this guy".

Thoughtful and well considered replies only please - he's very sensitive.

Umbilical hernia. I had one. didn't stick out, but I could stick my finger into it. Gross. And, ouch.

Inguinal hernias are those that are in the groin. Umbilical hernias - behind the belly button. There are other varieties that are rarer. Or, it could just be a connective tissue strain.

That's nothing. You should have seen a thread a couple years back. Some dickwad asked about LONG JOHNS. Stupidest thread ever.
