23 Americans on board. Russian separatists were bragging online they'd done it before discovering it was a civilian airliner, they now claim to not have the weapons to do so, and are deleting references to having captured Buk missiles, despite having shot down other planes.

I do have to wonder why it was a good idea to send civilian airliners over a de facto war zone

The world is fucking nuts...what a tragedy.

Hopefully, finding the wreckage won't be so problematic this time.

The Russians are claiming Putin was in the same airspace and that the Ukrainians did it? Well the Russians are about as believable as the Sorros backed Ukrainians.

It might turn out that Malaysian Air just sucks?

No, they claiming ukrainians wanted to beat down aircraft with Putin on board, but mistook as usual. They already beat down civil plains before (during military exercizes).

The US isn't going to sit by and let this happen and do nothing.

I predict three to four mid-level Russian diplomats will be denied visas within the next 90 days or so.

It was a bunch of Europeans and Malaysians that were killed. Let them take the lead in moral outrage.

Too bad it wasn't a bunch of Chinese also.
