So essentially it is a Can Am Spyder with a fully covered body. I will keep my cheap and reliable Honda Shadow...thanks.

The advantage of the Elio is that it has enough trunk space to carry your favorite sous vide immersion cooker.

I've never had a bike that got near that kind of fuel economy. My 2 current street bikes get 40-45 mph (08 cbr1krr, but does 0-60 in <3 seconds) and 48-50 (09 versys).
This thing doesn't have the active safety of a motorcycle (not as small or maneuverable, not quick acceleration, not up high with better visibility, etc). No thanks.

I had a Hondamatic that got 35-38, I had a 1100 Kawasaki LTD that got 33-35, I had mid 70s sportster that got 38-40, I had a Yamaha 250 Enduro that got about 40...out of all those bikes, I wish I still had that Enduro.
