I have a cousin in the army who's been saying for some time that cyber warfare was a real danger that we needed to take seriously rather than deriding it as a sci-fi scenario. These techniques could be applied to computer networks in much more critical areas than the entertainment industry.

It was supposed to be fairly terrible to begin with and nobody would have heard of it otherwise.

The Interview attacked the god of NK. It's ineluctable that they'd be upset just like the peaceful Muslims were about the purportedly anti Islam film "The Innocence of Muslims".
