Autodesk Revit Structure/Architecture

Any CAD guys out there that happen to have this software and don't mind hooking a brother up with a copy? I have some Revit .rar files but when I try to open them it says they are invalid. I was looking for Revit Structure 2013 or newer but any version would be helpful.

It's been a while since I have had any training on it and if I want to get a job with another structural firm working on larger commercial projects I need to be proficient as possible using this program.

How safe is it downloading files from Pirate Bay? I found a version there but I don't want to fuck up my computer downloading a virus of some sort.

Thanks for any help!

PM me on the facial books....I will see if I can hook you up with a guy who runs the Revit support for pretty big Arch firm.

Most of the stuff you'll get off the torrents is malware or etc., and software is getting harder to boost, but I do still see people running pirated Autodesk programs.

Revit has a free 30 day trial. I think the trial will do all you need to brush up. With a little effort you can run the free trial more than once on the same machine, with even less effort you can run it under a different name / email address on a different machine. This is almost legal and a lot easier than the boosting route.

I was thinking of this option as well, ccrow. I was actually about to download the 30 day free trial last night but decided to hold off. May go ahead and pull the trigger on it this weekend. I think I was on the BIM site though?

Thanks, ccrow!

If you just want to look at the files, I believe you can download a free Revit viewer from the Autodesk website. Also, if you know any students, they can get certain Autodesk products for free.

Here it is right at Autodesk:

The educational angle is good idea too, I think all you need is a .edu address to get an educational license and as long as you don't use it for real work, you're legal.

Thanks, ccrow! Thanks, j-cubed! Great ideas! So, how do I get a .edu email address if I'm not a student?

I'm sorry, I figured you had hacked access to the email accounts of all the girls whose pictures you post. (How else does he get all their pictures?!?)

If you don't have anyone in the household, in your extended family and friends, or hog tied in the back of your van that has an .edu account to hook you up, you could always go here

until that secret gets out.

Worst case scenario, you can enroll for a class at community college for waaay less than Revit costs.

No way, man! All of those pics are sent to me unsolicited! Nah, everything comes off of tumblr or tapiture.

Appreciate the link!
