I would not want some broad shouldered, cock-brandishing chick hanging out in my locker room. Most gyms have private changing rooms and showers for those who don't want to share. If you have a cock, stay in the cocks-only dressing room. If you have both sets of hardware, well, that's a different story.

I think it's fine if a man wants to dress as a woman and vice versa whatever that even means. I know several of you who like the feeling of frilly lace on your asses. I used to know a drag queen and the practice was to refer to him as a man when he was dressed as a man and as a woman when he was in costume.

I am 100% in favor of gay marriage and can think of no logical argument against it.

If somebody wants to go through hormones and surgery and officially change their legal status, I'm cool with that as well. It feels odd but I don't really care. Actually, I would be in favor of co-ed restrooms if women didn't take so damn much time in them.

However, simply declaring that you feel that you are another gender and want others to change things for you is something I don't understand. I can legally change my name to Juan Reyes and get a Mexican passport but that doesn't make me Hispanic. If a kid said they've always felt they were black and decided to check that box on college admissions forms to get a minority scholarship would people be fine with it? Could I declare myself a senior citizen so I can get discount tickets at the theater because I feel really old that day?

Agreed. I suspect in this case there may be two sides of assholia. The lady was bringing this up daily with people in the locker room, enough to attract complaints about her. I think that if some "obviously not transitioning" lumberjack started hanging out in the ladies room, you wouldn't have only one lady complaining, and let alone people complaining about the complainer. Something's weird.

The real comedy gold will start when male to female transgender "things" start demanding spots on female only sports teams.

The New York Times recently had a story on a current Harvard female swimmer that had sex reassignment surgery and plans on swimming on the male team next year. The dudes on the men's team didn't give two shits. It was a non issue; mostly because "it" wasn't a threat to any of the men on the Team. No one was losing a scholarship and or position.

We all know that story would have been different if it was dude that became a chick and wanted to swim on the girls team. This is the shoe I'm waiting to see drop. If sex is defined by how the person feels. It won't be long until a some guy (reassigned sexually or not) is going to demand a place on a woman's sports team; then watch the sparks fly.

There was also a recent story about a male transgender fighting in female MMA fights. The video I saw was comical. Even lacking a balls, the former male dismembered the female MMA fighter.

Like I stated; things are going to be comical when two liberal special victims groups collide.

It's all very logical if you think about it.

If you're a member of the privileged group (white), you can't do anything that would increase your power or moral authority (i.e., you can't "change" from victimizer to victim). This is why Jenner can change into a woman--he went from victimizer (white, male, athlete, probable rapist) to victim (woman/trans).

But if you're a member of the disenfranchised, powerless, victimized groups (meaning, everyone else), you can do whatever you want, however you want, to increase your power/moral authority.

I was in San Fran a few weeks ago and noticed that the majority of restaurants & bars I visited lacked men's/women's rooms and just had several single seat heads for any and everyone. I assumed that ownership felt it was too much trouble to set gender rules in such a gender blender town. Better to invest a few grand in extra heads and avoid hassle.

I refuse to give up this last vestige of male privilege. I mean, seriously, have you seen the lines out of women's restrooms when you go out?
