North Korea has publicly executed the country's defense minister after the regime accused him of treason, according to reports from South Korea.

Hyon Yong Chol was killed by fire from an anti-aircraft gun at a military school in front of hundreds of people in Pyongyang, the South Korean Intelligence Agency was reported to have told parliament members in a closed door session.

Perhaps you missed, "Old Clay got better than he deserved" despite the FUBAR execution. My main point was that we mock that vile little NK bastard while the execution he delivered was, in fact, more competent and humane than our sophisticated and humane method. It's an irony worth noting.

The fact that anti death penalty advocates make executions less humane is another fun irony.

Anti-death penalty. I don't believe the system is competent enough to avoid convicting and executing the innocent - most specifically poor innocents.

However, when it's a despicable and clearly guilty individual like Mr. Lockett and the other evil bastard in the article, I like the idea of ridding the earth of them.

A 9mm to the brain stem (or an NK anti-aircraft gun) would work every time and be much cheaper and more humane than the Rube Goldberg devices we're using.
