yea but that's like an anti-Hillary vote.

I should have phrased it "does anyone like the Falcons"

I'm in the ATL, and the Falcons shit is coming out of the woodwork. We have many newly minted lifetime fans.

I figure the Falcons will win the SB because we have a multi billion dollar new stadium opening next year that will need some buzz to fill for a few years.

Not especially, but I find them rootable. Their offense is fun and interesting. The Ravens interviewed their coordinator after the 2014 season, and I wanted them to hire him, but they didn't. Matt Ryan is deserving.

Nobody in Texas has a Falcons jersey, yet everyone wants o e for game day so they won't be mistaken for a pats fan

Yep. As a former season ticket holder, definitely rooting for them. Would have happily traded them going for a healthy Carr ankle though.

the emperor of darkness will make the falcons look like clumsy chickens.

he turns castoffs into stars: chris hogan, lagarette blount, eric rowe, martellus bennett

and sends selfish stars to the gulag: jamie collins

he's a football midas and gives not one single fraction of a fuck what you think.

Every time I hear about the Falcons, I think of this old Onion article:
Civil War Enthusiasts Burn Atlanta To Ground
Nearby, at the Georgia Dome, a battalion of Union soldiers stormed onto the field during the third quarter of the Atlanta Falcons' game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, emancipating a number of Falcons...

Loved them as a kid, and went to several games with my dad. I've been a casual fan most of my adult life. It would be great for my home state and the city where I worked much of my adult life if they won. So yeah, I'll be cheering.

I generally root for the underdog if my team is out. I don't know anything about the team, but as was mentioned earlier, fuck the Patriots.

Patriots and I understand why everyone hates them.

Been rooting for them for 42 years, even when they sucked donkey balls.

If I knew more fans like you I'd probably still be a Pats fan. Nouveau pink hats turned me off to start and the obsessive martyr complex (if you are fighting with people on social media and looking for people who are picking against them in the SB five minutes after beating Pitt, you suck) finished the job.

But two GOATs on that team. Maybe 3 if Gronk comes back reasonably healthy.

As a kid, we had some relatives living in the Boston area and while I was always a Giants fan, the Pats were my second team. But I can't stand Belichik. What he did to the Jets was fucked up.

Truth. Did you see the expression on his face when Nance handed him the AFC Championship trophy? Hilarious.

Go Pats!

I will admit that Matt Ryan scares me. I lived in MA until I was 30, never a die hard Pats fan because being a die hard fan is fucking gay but I really want them to win so everyone gets to see Goodell hand that trophy to the GOATs. Hopefully this is a better game than last week.

didn't see it at the time, but checked it out now on youtube. i like the way he grabs it, as though it's a sack of nails.

I can't stand the stupid martyr complex. Picking fights on social media is just a waste of time. Some people can't help themselves. Went to the game, it was fantastic. Brady and Ben both made some ridiculous throws. The Roethlisberger laser on the left sideline to Antonio Brown was unbelievable.

So are we going to analyze the game vs the Falcons? Nope, the whole media day is going to be Brady being deluded with questions about his friendship with Trump.

That being said, this Super Bowl will be a nail biter because all Patriots Super Bowls are close. 34-28 New England

I'll be rooting for the Falcons.

I agree with a previous post about the patriots head coach.

Even if the falcons win the next day the problems that I as an individual an we, the U.S. as a nation
have to deal with will still be there.

A little escapism from time to time does no harm.
