2 companies, both of which I believe have been discussed here, sell straps used in physical training.
1 of the 2 companies is said to have infringed upon the intellectual property rights of the other.
The resulting litigation destroys the losing company.
Some of the comments, if not here, elsewhere, have been along the lines of how TRX is so overpriced and Woss is a good buy.
That is all.

TRX is overpriced. I make a cheap version for my clients out of nylon rope and handles made from pvc. Literally a rope with handles on both ends. Hang it with a door anchor. You can adjust the lengths as needed by retying the knots. I sold them for $20, materials were less than $10.

I couldn't remember if one was made by it ex-pat or not.

Bummer, I liked that the Woss was small/light and could be taken traveling. Was planning to buy myself one as discretionary funds allowed.... Have to Keep using the home-made one now.
People have been using slings and ropes as makeshift training devices since gravity (and ropes) were invented. Sounds like the usual legal fuckery... Anyhow, isn't the TRX made in China(?), and the Woss (even though it was a shitload cheaper) was made in U.S.A?
If so, it gives a slightly different angle to those comments about 'parasites' and 'leeches', made by U.S. hero Randy.
Either way, TRX is overpriced down here - fuck them.

So...TRX was a direct rip off of John Hind's Lifeline cables, yet they never sued. Dlyna had insight here, I think at some function Hind showed the founder of the TRX a prototype.
WOSS was just the biggest and least expensive domestically made TRX knock off...it's a damn shame, really, because WOSS' equipment was rock solid. And I think TRX was pissed that 1) WOSS was made in the USA and 2) WOSS employed and was owned by veterans...and that took a certain marketing piece away from TRX
