Yosegaki Hinomaru

Story of two enemies become friends after 73 years. The flag is a yosegaki hinomaru (寄せ書き日の丸), good luck flags given to departing soldiers. They were signed by family, friends, and neighbors as a sign of affection, for good luck and safe return.
