Lie-Men,

I have rarely taken prescription drugs in my adult life and aside from Vitamin M, now and then, not much OTC. I must say that Mucinex gets the green gunk out of you that bogs down your lungs. Good stuff, Muy SHUTASTIC!

Mucinex D works even better for colds, but you have to sign that ridiculous Federal form promising you won't make crystal meth.

I still get the regular pseudoephedrine for nasal congestion, the gov't knows what I'm up to.

No, that works well to kill shit up in there and for purposes of debridement. I'd start with 1/2 tsp per cup to see if you can handle it.

Funk dat. I am hypersensitive to H2O2 thanks to unfortunate accidents in the immunohistopathology laboratory. My nose would burst into flames and I'd end up like Linda Ronstadt.

A slightly heaping 1/4 tsp in one cup of water is isotonic.

And to get back to the original thread, Mucinex plus pseudophedrine is the best, ever since they took my beloved phenylpropanolamine off the market.

Use cool water, it's soothing & reduces swelling.
