Vapor Therapy

Around this time of year I always seem to end up with chronically dry sinuses and an itchy coughy throat, which usually ends up leading to a bout with laryngitis that leaves me out of work for a week with no voice. I've tried room sized humidifiers -- but they don't seem to do enough good. I've tried room sized vaporizers and only ended up with wet furniture. Not being able to bring myself to do the Neti Pot for my sinuses, I purchased one of these.

I was skeptical at first, but it really does work. I had kind of "dry stuffed" sinuses that were leading me to sleep with my mouth open-- and then drying out my throat. I deal with strained vocal chords from speaking so much at work -- this is easily portable when necessary. I haven't had occasion to take it to work yet though.
I recommend this to anyone with dry air/indoor allergy issues. I've become far less dependent on Claritin-D using this.
