I watched it on Universal HD which let's things run a little longer but still dubs the foul language which in this case was absolutely hilarious. In all fairness to Mr. Seagal, he didn't do too bad and he actually busted out some of his old moves with full camera angles.

I'm re-evaluating my whole emotional relationship with Sensei Seagal. I admit to having a man crush on him and his full contact Aikido kickassery back in my late teens, but that all ended with him getting fat, making Fire Down Below, and then all those horrible straight to DVD clown flicks with those negroid rappers.
Nowadays, he's making a bit of a comeback with that Lawman series which is like comedic cocaine injected straight into your dick. The whole Anderson Silva connection just leaves me shaking my head, and now it's like a great cosmic joke/trainwreck/bukkake party that I just can't look away from and want to be a part of all at the same time.
Yes...I think Steven Seagal is back in fashion.

Get outta my head. One of my bro's and I were having just this very same conversation this morning when I was telling him about the movie. I was all ate up with Mr. Seagal when "Above the Law" came out and he had the world by the ass for awhile, then took a leave of absence then came back strong with Under Seige. Then as you said really got to believing he was special...started playing guitar, fucking with chicks who didn't what to be fucked with and it was all downhill from there.

Decent movie...it was saved by the great character acting of Henriksen, and William Forsythe.

I always think about this interview with a co-star who said he admired Seagal for his longevity. Making those crap DVD movies is still work and Seagal has managed stay fully employed long past the point other where other actors would have left the business. Him and Lorenzo Lamas will apparently be doing this forever.
