Gemini Titan LED Lighting System

I've been using a Black Diamond Icon headlamp for years; paid about $70 for it. It's been reliable, well-built, but dim.
Looked around and found the Titan: http://gemini-lights.com/products/titan .
It's LED based, and has a 900 lumen output. Costs, including shipping, $120. Decided to go for it; significantly less cash than the JetLite, which has been reviewed in this forum. Arrived a few days ago.
The thing is well built. Machined from aluminum, it's a little on the heavy side, and requires a separate 4 cell rechargeable battery pack which fits in a pocket, and connects via an extension cord. It is incredibly bright - even on the low setting, you can't look directly into the beam from 6' away, it's too bright. It illuminates well enough up to about 50 yards.
Rated to give 4 hours runtime on "high".
It runs a little warm; but the headstrap mount keeps it far enough away from skin that it's not a big issue. The headstrap is really nice, much nicer than the Black Diamond. It's comfortable, and you can adjust it for a snug fit while maintaining comfort, and the thing does not slip around at all.
The mount itself uses an O-ring to hold the light to the mount; if I have any doubts as to longevity, they'd be focused here. On the other hand, you can pick up spare O-rings, so, I guess that's acceptable.
I don't like having the cord dangling down; when possible, I'll route that under a jacket.
The big downside: it's made in, and ships from, China. But it only took 3 days to get here via DHL international, so from a purely consumer point of view, it's fine.
