Liked it so much we bought it. Almost made up for me buying Valhalla Rising. :)

First half, yes. Maybe i was tired from a long day at the gym but that second half was beyond me. Mind explainin' what that was all about?

Watched it last night. Best movie I've seen in a while. Perfect blend of action and comedy. Didn't expect the violence. Thought everyone in the film did a good job and thought the kid who played kick ass was great.

And even if none of the above was true it was worth seeing it for Hit Girl. That kid is my hero.

I'm no prude, but I find the whole concept and execution of Hit Girl offensive. Thought the same thing when Natalie Portman was cursing and killing people in 'The Professional.' Don't understand why a parent would let their child roll around in the gutter swearing like a sailor, chopping people to bits, blowing people's heads off and just generally being a psychopath. I know common opinion is Hit Girl is awesome, but I can't help but think being in a movie like that isn't the best thing for a child. The whole thing feels creepily exploitative to me, but I guess I am unhip and out of touch.

Well it wasn't like she is in pre school. I think that would be too much. She was in eighth grade I think. Or maybe it was fifth. It is hard to tell. I think by fifth grade most kids should be handy with a butterfly knife.
