What it is, really, is a compendium of scientific studies on what works and what doesn't. For longevity, hypertrophy, ailing knees and pretty much the whole shiteree. Many of the studies have been discussed on the training forum. She talks about Tabata but uses a different scientist's results. The book is very clearly written and about the last quarter of it is all sources. Recommended.

This is a great book. Confirms lots, throws out hard data denying lots of fitness myths. Got it for the Nook and read 2/3rds on my flight out to Cali.
