More true to the original than the commercials and previews would lead you to believe. Depp does well as does Eva Green. Enough laughs and camp to keep it relatively interesting. McDonalds, Wheaties, and Chevy had some pretty blatant product placement.

All in all, I give it a meh+2

Good! As funny as it looks I was a little dissapointed that it seemd like Dark Shadows in name only.
