So, my daughter and her friend are reading this series and love it. We just watched the movie this past week and it was amazing. Jim Carrey is fantastic and unstereotypical. Meryl Streep is, well, Meryl Streep. That's a compliment. :)

Highly recommend to grownups and kids alike.

And yeah it's a great series and movie but anything with Billy Connolly in it has got to be good.

I have three kids, I'm still in 2007.

The wife and I don't have any kids, and we loved it. I thought the train track scene was particularly well done.
