Documentary available on iTunes. First person accounts along with some re-enactments of the disappearance of a 13-year-old boy from San Antionio, TX in 1993, only to be replaced in 1997 by a French Algerian con man.
Truly crazy story. The kid who disappeared had blond hair and blue eyes. The replacement had black hair, brown eyes, was 7 years older than the kid he replaced, and spoke with a French accent. The story is like a very dark version of Catch Me If You Can.
Some of the people involved may be crazy.
Some of them may be well-meaning dupes.
Some of them may be evil.
Except for the con man, it's not clear who's who.
