The Strongest Men on Earth:

This book covers olde time strongmen acts and the culture of fitness during 1800s/early 1900s. While it mainly focuses on the figureheads, their stage acts, and the eccentrics/con artists of the era, it also goes into areas like weightlifting, boxing, wrestling, ju jitsu, club bell swinging. There's a lot to get through, and most of the history i found dry, but there was enough here that interested me about the events themselves and the psychos that partook.

Yeah Bobby, available in hardcover.

Should mention there isn't a lot of training info in there. I guess it's more a historical text than anything.

Hahah it goes very easy on the gay, given Sandow's preferences.
